Job Summary

Build and maintain relationship with key customers in order to promote reagents sales, ensuring customer relationships are optimized to achieve and/or exceed sales targets while keeping the overview about key customers in terms of understanding the opportunities, risks and competition’s activities.

Job Description

  • Grow reagent and consumables sales to key customers and meeting communicated sales targets
  • Obtain sufficient knowledge of key accounts to develop and maintain account strategies that convert customer needs to sales
  • Continue to nurture account relationships while proactively growing them by identifying opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell
  • Develop and maintain adequate short/long term sales pipeline to consistently generate profitable revenue
  • Create more value for customers to ensure increase in reagent order volume
  • Ensure timely invoicing, and order delivery in liaison with relevant business units
  • Respond to complaints and resolve issues to ensure customer success and satisfaction
  • Negotiate technical service agreements and provide professional after-sales support
  • Meet expected customer visits in order to achieve the agreed monthly and yearly sales goals
  • Report on reagent and consumables sales activity and territory performance as required

Job Experience

Education and Skills Required:

  • Candidate must have graduated with a 2.1 from a reputable university, preferably with a degree in Medical Laboratory Science
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in selling FMCG products or Medical related products
  • Experience in B2B market segment
  • Good sales prospecting, negotiation and deal closing skills
  • Excellent Reporting skills

  • Industry knowledge/Commercial awareness

  • Self-starter and highly motivated individual with ability to work with limited supervision

  •  Have a proven track record of Target Achievements and innovative deployments

  • Effective communicator, ability to build rapport and maintain relationship

  • Highly customer focused constantly working to increase customer satisfaction 

  • Ability to impress customer and clients with exceptional presentation and customer service skills

  • Proficient level of computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
